Kay’s Corner | Makeup of the day

Hello Guys,

Another Tuesday has come and it’s time to show you the makeup look i created today! I wanted something simple yet colorful and I think that’s exactly what I achieved! I added a pop of color to this look and really like how it came out, I hope you do too!

Now we’ve heard me talk about my face makeup enough so I will just slightly go over that! The main part of this makeup look was the eyes!

Face: I started off using the Nivea men’s post shave balm (not pictured)  I know you have heard all about this so I will not go into further detail! Then I used my covergirl ready set gorgeous foundation paired with my NYX HD concealer! Once I had my base on I set it with E.L.F’s high definition powder! For blush I used Milani’s baked blush in Coralista and for highlight I used my Wet-N-Wild baked highlight in boozy bunch.

Eyes: I didn’t want to do anything to extravagant on the eyes. I wanted something nice with a pop of color! I used 2 products to create this eye look, my Too Faced Chocolate soleil bronzer, and my covergirl eye shadow in turquoise tempest

Excuse the packaging!

I knew I wanted a winged liner but I didn’t want it to be super intense with black eyeliner, and to be quite honest I didn’t feel like dealing with wet eyeliner today! So what I did was put some scotch tape and put it right on the point I wanted my eye shadow to stop then, I took the bronzer on my Morphe M441 brush and blended it into my crease for some depth. Once that was applied I grabbed a eye liner brush and dipped it into the beautiful turquoise shade! I wanted to make sure this would be creamy when I applied it as the eyeliner so I sprayed it with my Mac fix + and drew out my wing! I then applied Too Faced better than sex mascara and Colourpop Creme liner in the shade fast lane!

I really like how this look came out and it does stand out from behind my glasses! Thanks for stopping by my blog and I will talk to you next time!
